Day Twelve - Race to Vodice
Quite an eventful day - whilst trying to start in zero wind - absolute flat calm we watched various NATO exercises - small boats whizzing round and helicopters droppng people onto a nearby island (the one with the rocks and trees).

A slight breeze finally came through and Pegasus got a slight lead over Draco and Cepheus.  More calm wind on the way frustrated all but we managed to get round a headland and into a good wind to make a good lead only to think we were going to lose it again just near the end, off Prvic.  Fortunately the wind affected the following boats in the same way and we won the race in Vodice marina by 18 minutes.

The evening meal was very interesting, especially when Jay's friendly parrot tried to take his ear off!

More beer on the way home followed by a Vodka mop up session on Auriga till 0230 ended a good day.
