The forecast was good so after parting with much cash for the stay in Zadar we set off for U Soline - a small bay on the south west corner of the island of Otok Ugljan. Auriga (mysteriously re-christened Topgun) had the unenviable task of leaving the tight berth first in an awkward breeze which proved difficult at the time - but entertaining in retrospect. The trip to U Soline was a slight anticlimax as the wind dropped steadily. We ended up motoring and saw some dolphins on the way. This was our first stay on moorings of the trip - and what a memorable time! We all remember 'Lady Fantasy' mooring in our midst ! - that must have been a "bareboat" charter??? Understatement of the day - Tenders and alcohol don't mix! - especially Grannies homemade Grappa. Tenders in to dinner, tenders back to boats to collect wine, tenders to Pegasus, tenders back to boat afterwards, tender heads in the morning! I think Sarah had a wet trouser leg as well. Mike took some nice underwater photo's whilst snorkelling in the bay at U Soline
